Fashionable Friday: Trend, Utility & Turquoise

T.G.I.F.F!
Thank God It's Fashionable Friday! ♥

Good Morning Ladies! Amanda, here for another Fashionable Friday at One Crafty Mommy! I'd like to introduce another easy option to choose over your old sweats. Yep, you guessed it! Long dresses are back in! Old Navy is one of my favorite retailers for fashionable, affordable and comfortable clothes.

1. What's great about this particular style is the fabric. Soft jersey knits are always comfortable, especially on hot days. The fabric is airy enough to let your skin breathe.
2. In addition to comfort, the top is constructed for added support for..let's say...bending down to pick up your little one, or picking up toys. You'll be able to relax knowing the 'girls' are secure and in place. =)
3. Last, but definitely, not least, choosing a fun print is essential to a stylish look.  This gives you the chance to pull out alternating colors in the print to use for accessories!

Plenty of storage and plenty of style! Not to mention the perfect POP of color to go with Old Navy's Long Maxi Dress.

Turquoise rings are very stylish this season. There's something about turquoise that brings out the Summer goddess in me! Rest assured the design is flat and very safe around children. =)

I hope you enjoyed another Fashionable Friday @ One Crafty Mommy! See you next Friday! ♥ Amanda

Explanation...

Hello my fantabulous readers! I know it has been way too long since I have been on here and I apologize for that. As you all know I am pregnant due this coming December. I just finished my 1st trimester which felt like I hit a brick wall and still does. Each day I barely get out of bed to get my daughter up and have a hard time staying awake. I take a nap when she allows me (so when she takes a nap) and am in bed shortly after she goes down. Even with all this sleep I am getting I am still exhausted. So I have had no energy to do any crafts which is why I made the decision to temporarily pack up my crafts and put them in storage. This was a sad decision but with no energy and our moving date approaching I decided it was inevitable and needed to be done.
On a more exciting note, my husband graduated today from the Verdugo Power Academy and is now a certified lineman.

Next step, find a job! This will be our main focus in the next few months as we find him a job, find a place, move out, and start our lives together. During this time I will continue to be on a hiatus from crafting but wil try to get on here every now and then to give you updates as well as feature cute crafts I discover. Amanda will still graciously give us Fashionable Fridays each week so even during this time of exhaustion and excitement, we can all look our best.
I want to thank you all for being such fantabulous readers and understanding that I need some time off. I am hoping in the future I will be able to get more energy and start crafting again once we have our own place. Thank you again for all your understanding and I hope to talk to you soon!!!!

Fashionable Friday: Leggings!

Hello Ladies & Welcome Back!
T.G.I.F.F.
(Thank God It's Fashionable Friday!)
~That'll be our New Mantra!~

Okay, this week I want to recommend something you won't mind ditching your sweats for....I promise they are so comfortable, super affordable and will make you think this is just too EASY! What is this wonderful treasure I'm raving about? LEGGINGS!

The #1 place I recommend purchasing from is Victoria's Secret.
They have the best deals: Buy 2 for $20!
Plus...Vickie's always scored high on my quality check list.
But let me back track for a sec....what do you wear leggings with?
Just about everything. However, there are some rules.
#1 Make sure your top covers your hinney.
#2 Purchase neutral colors first: Black, Brown or Gray.
#3 Pair them with sandals for a casual, sassy look. Pair them with heels for an evening look.
They are just so easy, simple, non-fussy and chic to wear during the day or at night!
So, what are you waiting for?
Go make your purchase! You'll love the way they go with everything!
Until next week, have a fabulous FASHIONABLE Friday!

Fashionable Friday: Stay Cool!

Well what do you know? It's time for another Fashionable Friday! With just a couple of weeks until Summer, I know we're all feeling the temperatures rise. What a great time to figure out some 'cool' anti-sweat options! Let's design an ideal outfit that's easy, effortless and stylish! Check out my pick for this week's Fashionable Friday: Stay Cool!

Breezy, lightweight gauze and a cute V-neckline with pintuck detailing make this top effortlessly easy. Featuring gentle elastic along back for a fitted look. - V-neckline with pintuck detailing and subtle shirring. Spaghetti string ties. Gentle elastic in back. Soft, lightweight gauze. Tiered hemline.

You never forget your first boyfriend! With Old Navy's new boyfriend-fit weekend jeans, every day feels like a saturday. Vintage washes and heavy abrasions put them on the cutting edge of shabby chic. Wear them cuffed 'n casual for a trendy look that never tries too hard or rolled down with your favorite tops and jackets. - classic 5-pocket styling abrasions vary by item.

Excellent and COMFORTABLE choice for your ideal day time look.  A rich mosaic of colorful seed beads graces the T-strap of these exotic leather sandals. Includes a buckled strap at the ankle, firm foot bed and textured rubber outsole. This piece acts as jewelry with beaded texture and fits in with the overall color palette of this ensemble.

This one is for you, Maryanne! ;) Use these wedges to add a fancier look for the evening.  Some of you may not know that matching your pant and shoe makes us shorter ladies appear taller.  :)

It’s only natural that you’ll adore these leaves-they make a statement due to their size yet have an airy, delicate feel.

Thank you for tuning into another Fashionable Friday! I am your hostess Amanda @ Fashionista On A Dime! See you next Friday! ♥
