The 4th of July is a fun time to break out of your fashion comfort zone. Don't be afraid to use prints and patterns! They're so easy to wear and great for fashion flair. But, make sure to use prints in your non-problem areas. For instance, if you have a pear shape, you'll want to wear a printed top and solid bottoms (think denim jeans).  That way you bring the attention up to your best features! Fashionable Friday: Trend, Utility & Turquoise

Good Morning Ladies! Amanda, here for another Fashionable Friday at One Crafty Mommy! I'd like to introduce another easy option to choose over your old sweats. Yep, you guessed it! Long dresses are back in! Old Navy is one of my favorite retailers for fashionable, affordable and comfortable clothes.

1. What's great about this particular style is the fabric. Soft jersey knits are always comfortable, especially on hot days. The fabric is airy enough to let your skin breathe. 

2. In addition to comfort, the top is constructed for added support for..let's say...bending down to pick up your little one, or picking up toys. You'll be able to relax knowing the 'girls' are secure and in place. =)

3. Last, but definitely, not least, choosing a fun print is essential to a stylish look.  This gives you the chance to pull out alternating colors in the print to use for accessories!

Pull up a cushy chair, grab a cup of coffee and let's chat.....My very good friend, Shannon (the owner of this fabulous crafty blog), is an amazing woman. She cares about your fashion needs and wants to see you happy with every area of mommy-hood including your wardrobe. It's commonly placed on the back-burner because you are busy caring for little ones and your significant other.  Where is the time? Well, you deserve to carve out some time (like now!) an reward yourself for being so nurturing and giving! So, for your prize, I want to give you easy tips to uncover your inner Fashionista you once knew and ditch the old sweats and t-shirt routine.

Today I'd like to focus on another area that often is overlooked: your pj collection! Sleep time is another opportunity to give back to yourself. Fashionable Friday: Easy & Chic Plaid

Happy 'Fashionable' Friday, ladies! Amanda from Fashionista On A Dime here, bringing a FUN Do-It-Yourself kind of trend.  Plaid, button-up tops are hot and trendy right now. The good news for women everywhere? It's an affordable and comfortable day time and weekend look! We love that, right? RIGHT! :) Let's take a look....

Target White Plaid Shirt $17.99

Color: White plaid is very flattering to all skin tones thanks to the brilliant 'pop' of color. The jewel tones offset any type of skin tone beautifully. However, if you're not loving the color, rest assured there are MANY more color options available.

(I'm soo loving the authentic looking pearl-snap buttons too! Makes me think of the movie: Coyote Ugly. ;)

Fit: This plaid top is my favorite because it contours a woman's body proportionately.  If your midsection is a problem area for you, this top acts as a concealer.

Add: To change up this look or layer it, add a lace insert cami to pump up the feminine factor.  For warmth: add a hooded zip-up sweater or a nice jacket.

Accessories: Keep it simple at top, ladies! Pendant necklaces are perfect. If you're dying to add a chunky piece, let it be a bracelet.
