Explanation...

Hello my fantabulous readers! I know it has been way too long since I have been on here and I apologize for that. As you all know I am pregnant due this coming December. I just finished my 1st trimester which felt like I hit a brick wall and still does. Each day I barely get out of bed to get my daughter up and have a hard time staying awake. I take a nap when she allows me (so when she takes a nap) and am in bed shortly after she goes down. Even with all this sleep I am getting I am still exhausted. So I have had no energy to do any crafts which is why I made the decision to temporarily pack up my crafts and put them in storage. This was a sad decision but with no energy and our moving date approaching I decided it was inevitable and needed to be done.

On a more exciting note, my husband graduated today from the Verdugo Power Academy and is now a certified lineman.

Next step, find a job! This will be our main focus in the next few months as we find him a job, find a place, move out, and start our lives together. During this time I will continue to be on a hiatus from crafting but wil try to get on here every now and then to give you updates as well as feature cute crafts I discover. Amanda will still graciously give us Fashionable Fridays each week so even during this time of exhaustion and excitement, we can all look our best.
I want to thank you all for being such fantabulous readers and understanding that I need some time off. I am hoping in the future I will be able to get more energy and start crafting again once we have our own place. Thank you again for all your understanding and I hope to talk to you soon!!!!

Hello my fantabulous followers. I am here to let you know I am still here and I promise to get to your links from Super Crafty Saturday as soon as possible. All day I have been in bed with food poisoning so I have not had enough energy to be on the computer. I am hoping I will feel better tomorrow so that I can get to them! Hello my fantabulous followers! If you are new here, welcome!!! Please stay and craft awhile with us!

I feel like I have been a bad hostess to you! I have not done a craft on here is quite some time now it is just sad. Instead on "One Crafty Mommy" it should be "One Lazy Mommy." I swear I have had no motivation lately but do not fear, because I'm back!

I have so many things in store for you I am bursting at the seams with excitement! First up we have an amazing blog swap tomorrow with an amazing blog. I won't tell you so you will all have to come back and see for yourselves!!! Also make sure to check back tomorrow for our weekly Fashionable Fridays from the amazing Amanda! I'm Irish... I Swear!

Hello all of my fantabulous followers! First off I want to say a big thank you to all of my new followers! You have made my day, heck my week! You should have seen the look on my hubby's face as I started juming up and down shouting "Yipee!!!" I was so excited to see that number climb and continue to climb! As I am writing this post I am at 94 followers! Only 6 more to go until I reach my goal of 100 and one of you lucky followers gets rewarded with a prize! I don't know what the prize is as of yet but I am brainstorming some really good ideas for you! And in the next coming weeks you will see some more changes as I try to make my page easier to navigate for you fantabulous readers!

Now to the reason behind this post "I'm Irish...I Swear!" Now as some of you may have noticed, I L.O.V.E. St. Patrick's Day, It is my second favorite Holiday (first being Christmas). As much as I love it I do not have too many decorations given our current situation. So I am on the hunt for some awesome decorations for you to make! I will have to live vacariously through you since I only have a 10 x 10 foot space to decorate I have to (unfortunately, for the hubby's sanity) limit what I put up for the holiday. This is all I have so far since i bought this last year and leave it up year round:

I know, it is sad that I do not have more up. For those of you who don't know me my maiden name is O'Malley. So I am super duper Irish to the point that I even have this tattoo on my back:

So you can see why I feel I am putting the Irish name to shame right now. So this is my vow to you my fantabulous readers and to my Irish heritage.

One of Those Days and a Contest!

So if you read my previous post you saw that both my daughter and I are sick. Well little did I know that was just the beginning. It has just been one of those days where it seems like nothing has gone right. First we woke up sick, then my Grandpa called and informed me that my car has more problems with it than they originally thought and it would be twice as much money. Then to make my day even better my daughter, after refusing for an hour to take a nap, starts calling from her room "Mommy, there is poopy on my bed." Ugh that takes the cake. I went in there and indeed there was poopy on her bed, her clothes, her hair, and her walls. Since all of us are mommy's we know how children get when they are sick so there is no need to get into detail of how bad this was since we have all been there. Did I mention that as I am writing this it is only 3:30 in the afternoon so who knows what else will happen but that will be for my hubby to deal with since I work tonight. Luckily my job is the easiest ever and I only have to work for 2 1/2 hours to be home in plently of time for LOST.

So that's enough about my day and I hope all you fantabulous readers are having a better day than me because I need your help! With all that is going on my brain is not functioning, I call this mommy brain, so I am asking for you to put your creative thinking caps on. With my reader count to almost 50 (which I am still in awe/shock over!) I want to do a weekly party like some of my favorite sites do. I would love to do this so I can see what amazing crafts, scrapbooks, and anything else you come up with! What I am asking of you today is to think of a day and a name you would like for my party. Laziness.....

As most of you have seen I have not posted in a bit. After all the commotion of Christmas (we celebrated 7 times our family is so big) I was not able to come up with anything to write about for a few days. I was so lazy I even went on The Cutest Blog on the Block to get my New Years Layout. I know, I'm bad! I did however, make a New Year layout for my personal blog so you are more than welcome to go check that cute one out. For this blog you will have to settle for a premade layout but I promise to post a tutorial later today and more in the next coming days!
