Blueberry Delight Kit!!!

Ok so even though I lost all my graphics (I'm working on getting them back) I was able to get these layouts off my e-mail. Woo Hoo! I am now a member of an amazing CT team at Digi-Scrapz by Christi. I was so excited when i found out she picked me to be a part of her team! The first kit I am working on is called "Blueberry Delight." I love how she was able to use so many shades of blue and I love the elements she used!

Here are the layouts I made:

So head on over to MissesBee Haven and Divine Digital to get this kit for only 2 dollars for 1 week only! Enjoy!

Getting To Know You Sunday

Hello! As I am writing this I am having to do a factory reset on my laptop :( Which means I am losing, as we speak, all of my graphics and pictures!! I am so sad and so dumb I never backed them up which will be the first thing I do when I get my computer back! I have some of the pictures online and I can get most of the graphics back from the sights I got them from but it will be annoying and time consuming! And I know I won't be able to get them all back which just stinks! On a happier note, it is Getting to Know You Sunday again so here it goes!

To play..Grab the questions..copy them..answer them..then go to Mann Land 5 and link on up..

The questions..

1. Would you rather bungee jump or sky dive?

Sky Dive

2. When using a public restroom do you squat over the seat or sit?

squat lol

3. Favorite flower?

4. Pedicure or manicure?

Both!!

5. How many siblings do you have?

4- 2 brother and 2 sisters

6. Do you pee in the shower? (gasp!)

I'm not a man lol
7. Bikini, tankini, or one piece?

Used to be able to wear a bikini before I was preggo...now after kids is a tankini. Never been able to wear a one piece since my torso is so dang long

8. Where do you hate to shop at, but go there anyway?

Walmart...Ok lemme tell you this because I L.O.V.E. Walmart in general but I hate ours. It for one is in the ghetto and I mean ghetto (I live in L.A. County). For this reason I never go there when it is drak since there has been shootings and all sorts of stuff, and lastly it is just plain dirty and un-organized. I hate this since I love the deals, especially on fabric! I am hoping wherever we move I can have me a nice Walmart. BTW if I want to go to a nice Walmart it is a 45 minute drive! I love it but not that much lol.

Last Day to Vote

Hello Fantabulous Followers I hope you are all havingn a better day than I am. Don't get me wrong I am having a great day spending time with my family but my computer is broken!!! Once on it only shows a black screen so I can't get to anything! Luckily I can get on another computer in the house to post this but I cannot access any of my graphics or programs! I hope I can get it fixed by tomorrow so I can post some adorable layouts I made for a CT team I am on! I am so excited and hope I can share this with you! Remember to get your votes in since it ends tonight. I am excited what you all pick for our party. Have a great rest of the day with your family!

Shamrock Love

Happy Friday! The weekend is finally here and while I wish I was celebrating having my hubby home he is gone tonight. :( Sad for me but good for him because he was able to drive down to Camp Pendleton (took him 3 1/2 hours will all the traffic!!) to go to his good friend David's going away party. They deployed three times together and grew really close while in the Marines together. My hubby was even a sword bearer for the traditional arch when David and his wife Kristen were married in August 2008. David is deploying to Afghanistan for 13 months so it was really important for him to go to this party, even if I don't get to see him until tomorrow but it is worth it! We will be praying for you David & Kristen!

Now on a happier note I have found another adorable St. Patrick's Day decor for you! Now how many of you still have the dollar section wooden hearts you bought from this post? Well that is ok because I have found a way for you to use these for St. Patrick's Day! I know, you are thinking, "How on earth can I use hearts, for the kiss me factor?" Well did you know that if you flipped four of those adorable hearts you make a shamrock! Neither did I! (I know I shame my name lol) Good thing for us Kelly @Make It Sparkly Mama not only realized this but made an amazing decoration for everyone's budget! This is the first time that I wish I had not completed a project so I still had these hearts to make this

So make sure you head on over and see Kelly and give her some Shamrock Love! Enjoy!

P.S. Don't forget to vote for the linky party! You have until Saturday at 8:00p.m. PST!

From Plain to Princess

Happy Tuesday fantabulous readers! I hope you all had a great day and I am sorry this is coming so late in the day but we had pre-school this morning and my car breaking down, again, and lots of other things to catch up on but here I am now!

So there is this wall in my daughter's room that was plain and white and boring. It was not much room to work with since it is between her entry and her closet. So I have been collecting items over the months and I put the finishing touch on last night that completed the look!

Before

After

Mud Pie Tooth and Curl Treasure Box Set (gift)

Cross Frame (gift) Aurora-1 month old

Prince Frame (2 dollars) Daddy and Aurora-6 months old

Modge-Podge "A" made by me (5 dollars)

Adorable picture shelf (5 dollars from second-hand store) that I painted pink and added three black and white pictures from her 2nd birthday

The finished Product! Along with my "Princess Project" (4 dollars)

So there you have it! A drab to fab wall for only 16 dollars! Enjoy!

Modge-Podge Doodle Bug Box

Happy Monday! I hope all you fantabulous readers are having a wonderful beginning to a new week. Normally I hate Monday's because that means the hubby goes back to school all day for the rest of the week but this morning I woke up very happy! I hope you aall had the same morning and if not I hope this adorable idea will brighten up your day!

So yesterday my wonderful hubby let me have a few hours to myself as a sort of break after re-adjusting this past week to him being gone all day again. (He has been home for 5 months so it is definitly a re-adjustment!) I decided to shop my facvorite store JoAnns. Now let me tell all you non-Californians, I am so jealous! As much as I love JoAnns I wish we had a hobby lobby! I can only hope that all goes according to plan and in 5 years we will be in Colorado so I can finally have my Hobby Lobby to shop at! Ok, back to business, while browsing I found this adorable jewelry box for 2.99. The only problem was it had mesh on the top and as I was standing there an idea popped into my head! I could make the munchkin a bug box. Not just any bug box, but a doodle bug box. When my younger sister was little she had a bug box that she carried everywhere. Now her nickname was Doodle (don't know why) and I still call her that to this day which of course she hates being a 17 year old. So we would call her box the Doodle Bug Box. Then I thought what about making the munchkin a doodle bug box just like her Auntie. So I grabbed the box, some adorable butterfly paper and was off all for under 4.00!

Remove all the hardware to make it easier to modge-podge

Paint all the surfaces you are not going to modge-podge in a coordinating color

Let paint dry

Modge Podge all the areas you want. I followed these directions.

Add any additional embellishments and replace hardware

Decorate the top with your munchkin's name

Now you have an adorable Doodle Bug Box

Enjoy!
